Age 2.5 – 3

Toddlers at this age range are naturally excited to explore the environment and limits of their potential. We provide your child with a safe, loving environment for all-rounded growth and development. They are allowed the freedom to explore their fantasies and abilities while they learn essential socially acceptable behavior.

Fun-filled Learning

Closing a zipper or buttons and simple drawing (such as joining dots) are some of the activities that facilitate physical development. Concentration is a major challenge in this age group. When the child engages in singing and dancing, their cognitive abilities are expanded. They learn how to remember new things and concentrate on one task at a time.

By age 3, the child should begin to invest in new words as well as make proper short sentences and questions, often three to five words. Repeating rhymes, reading stories and simply talking and listening are some of the activities that nurture language development. Parents are advised to avoid vulgar language around the child since they will definitely replicate it in their everyday speech.

Positive Enhancement

Pretend-play, scribbling, and drawing are encouraged to develop creativity. Toys are provided and group games are promoted to allow development of social skills.  As the child learns how to communicate with peers and the caregivers, they grow out of expressing their emotions using tantrums. Also in the spirit of independence, the child is encouraged to get dressed or wash their hands on their own.

Praising your child, by clapping or cheering, inspires your to repeat the same action. Here they learn by trial and error. Thus, they will explore other behavior in order to try and get praises. Since setting boundaries goes hand-in-hand with giving freedom, the toddler is taught how to take simple instructions and subtle punishment is given when bad behavior is repeated. It gives the child a sense of morality and discipline.
