Tullahoma Day Care Center is in its 53rd year, working to provide high-quality, low-cost child care and preschool education, allowing parents to work and/or further their education knowing their children are in good hands. Our caring staff has a combined 114 years of experience in day care and preschool instruction. We depend on the generosity of businesses and individuals to supplement the Center’s operating costs and to provide for capital improvements in the facility, enrichment activities for the children, and staff education.
What can your donation buy? Here are some examples….
- $15 will purchase a case of copy paper
- $20 will purchase a sleeping mat for one child
- $90 will cover tuition for one week for a child
- $125 will cover breakfast, lunch and a snack for one child for a month
- $300 will purchase 4 new outdoor riding toys

Annual Holiday Tour of Homes
This event, held on the first full weekend in December, is eagerly anticipated by many local residents as the way to kick off the holiday season! This year the Board of Directors decided to cancel the event because of increased numbers of Covid19 cases in the communities we serve. We plan to be back with a great event next year!

Fundraising at Tullahoma Day Care Center
As a nonprofit organization, Tullahoma Day Care Center sponsors fundraisers to support our mission of providing quality, low-cost child care for working and student parents. Our major annual fundraiser is the Holiday Tour of Homes the first weekend of December. We have also participated in The Big Payback, a day of online giving sponsored by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for all area nonprofits. Our most important fundraising sources are the many civic organizations, businesses and individual donors who believe in our mission and the impact of quality child care and preschool education for all children.
How Can You Become a Donor?
Donations can be made by participation in one of our fundraisers or by donating online on our web page or sending a check via the mail. Monthly giving is encouraged. Just like in a home budget, money that we can depend on receiving helps us with financial planning. A quarterly newsletter is sent to all donors so that they are aware of how their donations are being used and are kept abreast of happenings at TDCC.
How will my donation benefit me or my business?
First, all donations, large or small, are valued by TDCC. We like to recognize our donors, but respect anyone’s desire for anonymity.
All donors of $100 or more are recognized as “Friends” of the Tullahoma Day Care and their donations are recognized on our Facebook page and in local newspaper articles.
“Sponsors” are donors contributing $250 or more. In addition to social media and local newspaper recognition, the donor’s business or personal logo and name can be posted on our website on the Sponsor page.
There are four levels of sponsorship:
Bronze: $250-$499
Silver: $500-$999
Gold: $1000-$2499
Platinum: $2500 or greater
All sponsors will be offered a personal tour of the Tullahoma Day Care Center, to see the facility and meet the staff and students. Sponsors will also receive free tickets to the Annual Tour of Homes. The number of tickets will be based on contribution level: Bronze (2), Silver (4), Gold (6) and Platinum or higher (8).
